My card for you this week is a fun and versatile Boy-themed 4"x4" note card. Take a look:
All in all, this was a fairly simple card. I achieved the chevron background using the striped stencil and white sponging, and the main image is stamped onto a crinkled piece of Kraft cardstock. I rolled the edges to finish off the "treasure map" affect. The ribbon for the sentiment is the backside of the 5/8" Natural Chevron. Oh, and I just discovered the Maritime DSP, which I used for the red anchor banner, so keep an eye out for more of that to come!!
Thanks for joining us at CYCI this week. If you haven't already, please head over and see what the other designers have made for you, as well as this week's entries. Don't forget to enter your own project too!

Such a cute card. Love all the small details with the scroll. Great team card this week!
ReplyDeleteTerrific card! The little treasure map is brilliant. The bright colors, gold and texture add so much to it too. Great job!
