Do you like my mad MDS skills?

I have now been bitten by 2 bugs. Last week it was Stampin, and now it's Bloggin. Actually, I just wanted to start working on my blog to try to make it look nice like some of the others that I have seen. Here's a link to the best one out there: Shameless Plug.

So when I first started my blog a couple of days ago, I browsed around the default blog templates and none of them really popped.  I needed something unique and cool, just like me.  So I asked my wife and stamping advisor what my other options were. She sat me down at her computer and opened a program called My Digital Studio.  Perhaps you are familiar with it?  It's like having an infinite craft room with endless options. I'm talking stamps, DSP, washi tape, even staples. After I clicked around for a few minutes, my mind was blown.  I could create whatever I wanted to. And the best part? There was no mess to clean up!  It's funny because I made a card last night and I thought it was pretty simple... just a few layers, one stamp set, a little snip of baker's twine...and 20 minutes later, I couldn't even see the table anymore!  So needless to say, it was pretty neat to be able to clean up my MDS "mess" just by clicking a few buttons lol. So please, take this time to scroll up and look and look at the header that I created for my blog...go ahead, I'll wait here...

Did you like it?  I made it myself.  First time MDS'er. Here it is again for those of you who didn't really scroll up:

Do you like it?  I made it myself.  First time MDS'er. Just in case you couldn't tell, I'm pretty proud of it. And it was easy. So if you are intimidated by MDS or haven't had a chance to check it out, JUST DO IT!!!  In fact, if you don't have MDS (yet), you can play with it here:

That's all I have for now. Maybe over the weekend I'll show you the card I made before my MDS epiphany, or maybe the cards from Orlando that started this all.  Thanks for stopping by, and hope y'all come back soon!
